It is my full position that there is absolutely nothing on the whole planet that is more delightful than a brand new baby.
I have two boys and a girl, and I know I’m in the minority here, but there is nothing cuter than little gent clothes on babies who can’t say they won’t wear a bowtie. I just really adore that classic baby blue, and Amelia (as she does) just made the perfect classic boy shower come to life recently.
This is the first time I’ve seen her go after a monochromatic balloon look and I honestly LOVE it. It’s just beautiful to have that overwhelm of color. She did add some fresh greenery that she grabbed from the grocery store, which brought a really cool vibe to the whole thing.
The mom to be is planning on an elephant theme, so there was not a small number of cute little trunked elephants on every available surface, including the cookies. CAN YOU EVEN?
For cupcake toppers, we found this adorable pattern and she made these cupcake wrappers on the Cricut. The Cricut really flexes it’s muscles when Amelia throws a party, I say she has a gift to make that bad boy sing.
Isn’t this photo ring great? Who has this stuff laying around? AMELIA. Because she’s the hostess with the mostest!
But Yall, now we’re getting into my personal favorite topic…. Food. And is this JARCUTERIE not the greatest? Everything she served was individually packaged for germ and cootie reasons, but a little personal cheese board in a cup? CAN YOU HANDLE THAT KIND OF JOY? These bamboo cocktail sticks made it really that much more awesome.
Last but not least, she had a blueberry lemonade bar which was a show stopper. This is SO EASY to do at home. We purchased two bottles of Simply Lemonade, sliced up some lemons for garnish, and boiled 1/2 pint of blueberries with 1 c. sugar, 1 c. water, and 1 mint leaf. Boil for 30 minutes…. Squash the blueberries, and strain the syrup.
Add 1 Tablespoon of the blueberry syrup to the bottom of a glass, top with lemonade, and you’re in business!
So cute, right? ALMOST makes me want to have one more baby.
